The Gillette Wild Girls went undefeated in Cody this past weekend to win the 19U B WAHL State Championship. They beat Cheyenne, Pinedale, Miles City in pool play and then blanked Miles City 4-0 in the final. Zoey Soost, Madison Stavely, Brailey Taylor, and Madison Phelps were named to the 19U B All-State Team. Congratulations on capping off your season on top!
The High School Varsity team is heading to Jackson for the High School 18U A State Tournament. They play their first game against Cheyenne at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. The team finished the regular season with a 16-2-2 record for 1st Place in their division, one point ahead of both Pinedale and Casper. Our high school varsity team has won the WAHL 18U A Championship the last two years. Let's Three-peat!
The Junior Varsity team is off to Rock Springs for the High School 18U B State Tournament. They play their first game of the post season against Jackson JV at 8:45 p.m. on Friday. They finished the regular season with a 2-17-1 record. Good luck to you!
The WAHL 12U A&B State Tournament is in Gillette this weekend. Both Gillette teams are playing in the A bracket. Gillette Purple plays their first game on Friday against Douglas at 7:15 p.m. They finished their regular season with a 10-8-2 record for 5th place in their division finishing three points ahead of Riverton (6) and three points behind Sheridan (4). Gillette Gold finished the regular season with a 19-1-0 record for 1st place, finishing one point ahead of Douglas. They get a 1st Round bye and will play their first game on Saturday against Casper at 9 a.m. Good luck to both teams!

Registrar is responsible for ensuring all GHA players, coaches and volunteers are properly registered with USA Hockey and have required GHA paperwork completed according to deadlines and works closely with team coaches and managers to maintain the GHA rosters for each team. This position performs all of the duties incidental to the office of Registrar and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President and the Board of Directors.

Responsible for ensuring that the on-ice programs are of the best possible quality by recommending appointment of coaches, coordinate background checks for coaches, educate coaches, conduct regular coaching meetings, board liaison for all matter related to coaches, conduct and or coordinate coaches clinics. This position performs all of the duties incidental to the office of Coach-In-Chief and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President and the Board of Directors.
Responsible for coordinating referee certification classes, scheduling referees for all GHA home scheduled games and charged with developing programs to encourage new referees to become certified. This position performs all of the duties incidental to the office of Referee-In-Chief and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President and the Board of Directors.
