Locker Room Policies and Procedures

Campbell County Parks and Rec has been working with our local public health office to come up with a plan that allows us to have access to locker rooms for practices and games to ensure that we are able to have a successful season. One of the requirements will be that everyone must wear a mask when they are in a locker room. We do ask that everyone make every effort to adhere to this rule. If people do not wear a mask in the locker room, we may lose access to them or public health may shut us down. Or goal is to have a complete season. We will need everyone's cooperation to make this happen. Fall sports have done very well in following the guidelines set forth for their sports. We can do the same.

Another is that all gear must be removed from the locker rooms. For most of our age levels, this isn't much of a change but again, we will need everyone's help to make sure that gear isn't left behind. Occasionally, we have been able to leave gear in the locker room between games, but it looks like that will not be possible this year.

These are interesting times, to say the least. We have control over our season provided we abide by the rules that have been set forth. We will also need to be cognizant and respectful of differing rules at other facilities throughout the state. We will pass those along as we learn what they are.

Here's to a successful hockey season. Go Grizzlies!
