Fill out the application below if you would like to be a coach for this upcoming season!

Coach Registration

There are several items required in order to be a coach through USA Hockey. Please use the links and documents below to complete all the necessary items for this season.

Step 1 - USA Hockey Registration

Click this link to register with USA Hockey. Please submit a copy of the receipt with the USA Hockey # to the Coach In Chief. (There is a $40 fee)

Step 2 - WAHL Background Check

All coaches are required to pass the WAHL background check. Use this link to complete the background check. A full report will need to be sent to the Coach In Chief. The email stating pass will not be accepted without the full background report. (There is a $13 fee) All background checks are good for two years, if you have completed this background check and it has not expired, you may skip this step.

Step 3 - SafeSport Training

Coaches will need to complete and pass the SafeSport training by USA Hockey. Once you have completed this training, you will be awarded a certificate. Please send a copy of this certificate to the Coach In Chief. This certificate is good for two years. If you have completed this training and the certificate has not yet expired, you may skip this step.

Step 4 - Sport Engine Registration

We will need you to register through Sport Engine in order to be added to the USA Hockey roster, use the team management items including text messages or emails to your team, schedules etc. (Note: you will need your USA Hockey Number to register)

Step 5 - CEP Level and Age Module Training

Use this link to sign up for coaching clinics and complete the Age Modules for the specific age groups you will be coaching. These items will need to be completed no later than December 31st.

Step 6 - Coach Contract

All coaches will be required to sign a coaching contract. There are different applications for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches. Please fill out the appropriate contract and submit to the Coach In Chief.
